Admissions and Advising Services provides assistance to all prospective and new students interested in a credit program as well as those seeking entrance into limited-enrollment Health Technologies programs. We are here to help you transition to Durham Tech and create a plan to meet your educational goals. We provide admissions, career, and academic program counseling, residency verification, placement testing, advising, and registration assistance.

The state requires students to submit evidence of residency status when completing a college application. Students should use the Residency Determination Service (RDS) to complete a determination.
Continuing Education (noncredit)
You may also attend Continuing Education (noncredit) courses without applying for admission. See noncredit options for career growth, personal growth, and business development.

Students whose first language is not US English
For students whose first language is not US English, the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program will help you improve your higher-level English skills necessary for you succeed in your US college coursework or other academic endeavors. Students interested in this program should follow the Enrollment Map below since application to the EAP program requires admission to Durham Tech.
